I apologize now as I am sure with the holidays and baby number two coming I will surly fall further and further behind with this but i do promise to try!!
The Fenstermaker's have been doing well and keeping busy. It never seems to fail, this time of year bring lots of travel, family and crazy schedules! I am just at 26 weeks down through this pregnancy and so far feeling well. It was a bit of a rough start but it was all worth it! I can tell its a little more difficult with a toddler running around all day, the extra age my body has added plus this being the second time around but there is no doubt in my mind that this big, VERY ACTIVE boy growing is going to be every bit as worth it as we imagine! Andrew has been keeping busy with school and a few odds and ends of things for tech committees, tutoring and even a baseball happening here or there. I have been making him lay for long periods with me just to feel how very active baby number 2 is! Braylon as an active baby in the womb but never as early or as much as this little guy. We are both very anxious to see his (what we imagine will be) a very strong personality right from the start.
We both spent a little extra time with"faith, love and family" this month too. Not only because it arises with the Thanksgiving holiday but we recently sent an Angel to heaven as we said our goodbyes to his Granny. Though Braylon and I have known her so much shorter in time than Andrew or his family we grew to love her and see the true love and compassion she had for her family. We had a nice weekend in Ohio with Andrew's family and spent some extra time cuddling our little guy and enjoying the fact our other little one is so active and healthy. It is never easy to say a "farewell, see you soon, goodbye" especially with a toddler not quiet sure of his surroundings. Although it was not in our plans we know that she was sent off by a loving family and will be more than welcomed at the gates of Heaven.
The one thing that seems to brighten our days no matter the sadness, doubt or frustration .... BRAYLON! His two year old stubbornness and personality(to put it nicely) has come out in full force. Just this morning it took me 30 minutes to stop the tears and get started on breakfast all after he had told me he was hungry. I have been trying the many "ways" I have heard about, learned for myself or am just figuring out to help with the (we will call it) "personality change". I even let him pick his own breakfast, get in the chair himself, cut his own bread and so forth but there was just a mental wall of frustration he had for me. All in all after the short conflict breakfast was happy, full of smiles, chatty and he ate well. It could be a big change coming, it could be the daily changes we have already had with travel and schedules... either way the changes will keep coming with the holidays and then soon after a baby. Patience has never been my strong suit especially with adults but I am learning day by day there is not set rules to your own children, in your own settings, in your own home and we can manage that! We may have great moments, rough ones too and even days that are an all day battle or an all day happy but as long as he knows we love him and support him...we hope to grow a strong, independent and loving little boy! HOPEFULLY!! :) Here is a sneak peek at his two year photos and a few fun things so far this month!
