A couple more things ...

This past week we also were up close and personal with a water tower and Braylon was amazed at just how big they really were! Can you find him....?

We also had a great first trip to a local Farmer's Market! We ended up with mini donuts, fresh lemonade, sweet corn and some new sausage links to try too! The best part of the whole morning ... ending our day in the splash pad before we left! Good thing mommy had extra clothes!

To top the weekend off Braylon had a special date with daddy to The Secret Life of Pets! I have no picture to share since daddy is not has camera happy as mommy but I heard it went well and there were some extra silly pets. Not to mention it was some great time spent just the two of them (and their yummy snacks!!)!

Blank Park Zoo

This past Friday we had a great trip with Creation Kids (Mommy's work/Braylon's school) to Blank Park Zoo. The zoo is almost perfect size for our boys with just enough to keep us busy but not so much we can not make it through before melt downs happen! The best part ... we were able to spend the day exploring with some school buddies for both boys! Baya, Madden and their mommy Andrea are so much fun for all of us! Baya and Braylon are close in age and spent some time together in early day care as well as preschool. Madden and Brekkon are also close in age and spend their days together at Shira's (our in home provider). Did I mention that Andrea is the one who took our recent pictures and she cuts all our hair too! There were lots of laughs and memories made and a few pictures along the way too!

LOUD... just the way my boys like it!

These two monkeys watching monkeys!

We had so much fun feeding the giraffes! Brekkon was a little unsure but there were still lots of smiles!

Brekkon saw his favorite animal... COWS! Look at those GINORMOUS horns!

We spent a good amount of time making sure the goats and llamas were well fed too! Brekkon was not scared at all this time.

My little Leo!

Brekkon and Baya... look at that fun butterfly!

Braylon with Baya and a school friend Amelia!

Train rides... Brekkon was the only one who wanted to sit with me.

A little roo!

Completely fitting don't you think?!

A blessed week!

We have had plenty of things to be thankful for this past week! The weather, time with friends, family fun and some special reminders of just how sweet a little boy can be!

I will be totally honest here we have not made much effort to go see Daddy coach. Mostly for selfish Mommy reasons of not wanting to chase, confine and re-chase two boys .... but this week we attempted it! It actually wasn't horrible but we had our moments. Two boys means two different ways to watch and keep track of. Braylon was all about playing catch and Brekkon was my sneaky Pete who kept trying to find daddy (who was in the dug out) by opening the gate occasionally... but look how sweet this is!

This past Thursday the weather was humid and sticky. It had rained earlier that morning and going by the pool on our way home - it proved to be fairly slow so we thought we would have a family night at the pool. Daddy had a different idea and all in all a better one. We headed out to our favorite local beach area and pretty much had the entire place to ourselves! It was beautiful and truly one of the easiest places for Mommy and Daddy to have a conversations ---- they keep themselves super busy!!

This past weekend we visited our amazing friends the Buss family. They are truly a huge blessing to us near or far so it was time well spent just playing, hanging out and attempting to eat cherries! Brekkon loved them but they proved to be slightly tricky with the middle pit.

This weekend at church was our monthly time to spend teaching the two year old room (Brekkon's class). Each time we do Braylon insist on staying in there as well and hanging out. He is a great helper with story time and loves helping all the kiddos build and explore though sometimes he gets frustrated with all the messing up of things too! This picture captures the sweetest moment of him taking care of his "baby cousins". Every time we see the Gamm's and "the twins" as he calls them he is obsessed with holding, playing and feeding them. How precious to use it in his pretend play too!

And lastly, though most dear to this Mommy's heart.... "Mommy, can we have a coffee date together?". Talk about a heart melt! We enjoyed the morning playing games, eating cinnamon rolls and drinking coffee (or hot cocoa)! He has already insisted on a daddy coffee date next!

Two wheels!

I am not sure how I forgot to add this into our June memories!? It was a big month for Braylon with a huge milestone! Braylon is officially (but not quite mastered) training wheels free! He was so excited and proud of himself ... And so was his mommy and daddy!! Go Braylon!!

(Sorry it is sideways)

Summer photos by Andrea!

We have a good friend of ours who loves to take pictures and does such a fantastic job! Not only is she amazing at the photo part but she makes the whole experience easy and something that little kids can make it through! We spent the morning at Kent park just walking, talking and snapping pictures away. I am more than happy with the results and am in love with EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE!

Still catching up ....

I finally took a minute to get the rest of the photos transferred from the camera to the computer. (Yay me!) So let me get you caught up on May and June....

May 2016 was a busy month for the Fenstermaker clan. It is crazy at school with the end of year fun, it's the perfect month to get the camper out and about finally and of course the weather is finally warm and sunny for more outside time!

Braylon attending his second year preschool graduation. Poor guy has a late birthday so he still has one more year to go but he loves his time at school and loves Ms. Emily too. He was not feeling 100% that night and was a bit emotional through song singing but managed to pull it all together to tell everyone what he wanted to be when he grew up (a chipmunk) and enjoy a cookie (or two) before heading home!

Brother L<3VE!!

We had a great play date with the E clan and had so much fun putting over 100 water balloons on the trampoline. It was a huge hit especially for the three older boys!!! I see trouble in our future with this group!

At the end of May we celebrated Memorial day with my mom on a long camping weekend. Daddy had a wedding that he traveled out of town for so after he was kind enough to haul the camper and hook us up for the weekend he took off and the boys and I had a blast (in between all the rain showers and storms). It was just a small camp ground with lots of people. The boys made some new friends (girls of course... it seems that everyone has little girls but us!) and spent a lot of time playing in puddles and getting soaked. I was very thankful I packed well more clothes than typically needed. We even had a front row view for their movie night that was made perfect with fresh popped popcorn and glow sticks. It really was their kind of camping weekend!

No on to June 2016...we were in full summer mode by now. Daddy's schedule was full of baseball games and late nights so we were adjusting to new bedtime routines and getting into the swing of being a one parent show!

Ice cream is a huge favorite in our house. Does not matter what kind.... we go through a lot f it and the Schwan's man loves us!

A little more from our Father's Day fun! We loved the park, the Raptor Center and of course sharing our goodies with Daddy-O!

At the end of the month we celebrated with Aunt Addie on a very special weekend for her and the kiddos! We had so much fun spending the weekend playing, relaxing and enjoying our time with the people we love most.... family! We even got Papaw to do a little snap chat face swap! :)
