Four years ago today ...

This sweet, feisty little boy has been stealing the birthday spot light for almost a week now! Turning four is a big deal, don't you know!?

We kicked off the celebrations by inviting a few friends for a special trip to the PlayStation. For anyone who doesn't know what the PlayStation is ... it's a three story jungle gym with far too many slides, tunnels and holes for this momma! Ha! The boys are finally at a great age where they just go and run and play and the set up is perfect ... one way in, one way out! They had a blast running, sliding, getting lost and playing games for a couple hours! Best part!? Andrew and I managed to come up with our weekly grocery meal plan in between checking on them and attending to needs! I call that a win! We rounded out the trip with pizza and fries then headed home for cake and cupcakes! So. Much. Fun!!!!

By Friday it was time to celebrate at school with some delicious Paw Patrol Cookies from a local baker. They are AMAZING! He loved, loved, loved passing them out and sharing them. So sweet!

As we approached this current weekend we had made plans to visit an indoor water park with family. Not a birthday weekend plan but lucky for him it fell perfectly and did land on his birthday. We spent yesterday and today riding slides, playing water basketball and splashing around with their cousins Avery and Myles and even shared some cookies and birthday donuts too!

... And today, this very day four years ago our little family grew by one making us a family of four! Tonight we celebrated one last time with his favorite for supper .... chicken legs!

This boy melts our hearts daily with his sweet, kind soul! He also drives us bananas with his fierce independence and stubbornness! His heart pumps for all things tractors, construction and tools! He has a smile and those big blue eyes that make a mommas heart melt and a room shine brighter! His energy is boundless! His imagination is untamed! But most importantly his love and kindness is part of the reason the world is a good place!

Happy birthday to this little soul and all the wonders it has yet to share!

Already 3 months with three boys ... 🤪

How can we already be at the three month stage...?!?! There are days where I feel like this sweet nugget has been here for years because he just fit right into our family and was meant to be there and other days I feel like we just welcomed him to the world. He is such a laid back, sweet boy loves to smile, laugh and "talk" all the time. Those big, sweet blue eyes have been winning us over for months now! We can not imagine our family with out him. He is the key to what makes us stop, slow down and really enjoy our time together when schedules get busy and chaotic and we love him for that. He was just what we needed!!!

Brylor's monthly facts

- roughly 17 pounds (which i am sure is off the percentage scale)
- wearing 6-9 month clothing
- loves his fuzzy over his face just like big brothers
- finally found a paci that he likes {momma win here!}
- constantly smiling and talking
- loves, loves, loves those silly big brothers
- not a big day sleeper but sleeps through the night (fair trade, right?!)
- starting to grasp/hold at a few things (maybe by accident but we will take it!)
- love bath time and playing in the water
-loves being on his changing table

I am sure there is more i have missed but these sweet pictures should make up for it! He was a bit cranky just shortly after I tried getting pictures so big brother came in {by his own choice} and tried tickling, being goofy and holding him. It worked for a split second and then he was mad so big brother split! Ha!

Science Night!

Braylon's elementary has a fun free science night for all the kiddos and families of the school! He was so excited to go and check everything out! Some of our favorites were ...

The owl room were they could see different feathers and talons of owl species, feel how much and owl weights and even visit a real owl!

The building/construction area where you could use all sort of thought and skill to build towers, buildings or anything really. We went simple but by the end of the night the gym was filled with awesome structures!

The "science" station where the boys used magnetic waves (I think!?) to shoot items into the air, learned about dry ice, played with solar powered toys and used special glasses to see different types of materials show colored lights!

And of course the bug zoo! So many HUGE roaches, beetles, walking sticks, spiders and many of them you could touch. The boys did not want to brave feeling them and I only did to encourage them. Somehow I am not sure I got the best end of the deal!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

These three boys have my gear today and every day! They woke up to yummy donuts (thanks to daddy), special messages of why we love them and some new apple sauces (a Fenstermaker favorite in our house). Lots of smiles at wake up time and that makes a momma's heart happy!

They were super excited to take their valentine boxes to school today! They both did a good amount of the painting but (if I'm being honest) I did finish them. I know, being a teacher, that it's about their creativity and their work but their HUGE smiles when they were down made me forget about the rest of it. They wanted these boxes more than they wanted to actually create them their selves and that's ok with me!

We kicked off the rest of the morning with coffee deliveries to Brekkon's teachers, classroom parties, handing out Valentines and then coming home and scoping them out!! I loved looking through all of them with both boys and saw so many creative goodies! Brylor even came home with a few things like a squeaky duck, a super hero mask and a teddy bear with his name on it!

We ended the night with Cupid ice cream floats and some good old fashion LEGO play!

Sending lots of love and laughter to all of you!

The busy boys of the Fenstermaker house ...

I have been slacking on the picture taking. We seem to be busy, busy these days (I wonder why!?). Here a few quick sippets of our evenings. Lots of playing, silly faces, brother watching and maybe a visit or two to our new Dunkin' Donuts. Momma bear may like their coffee a little too much! I promise to get more pictures especially with Valentines and a birthday coming up!!
