Happy Sunday!

The Fenstermaker's made it through Thanksgiving! I feel it is just a warm up for what Christmas time will bring with more travels and more family time! Braylon did well with all the mixed up schedules and people. I think he like the interaction and attention once he got used to everyone! We haven't updated you in a while on how things are going so bare with all the news!

Andrew is healing well from his torn Achilles. He continues to go to physical therapy every couple weeks but is in a regular shoe and at 'normal' day to day function. If you ask him he will tell you his leg is a joke! Ha! He has recently been trying to go up on the ball of his foot or on his toes and he can not even leave the ground. We knew going in to the process that the muscle and strength recovery would take time and patience but to him it is just not going fast enough. He has made many comments that he will not be playing rec sports again. He does not want something like this to happen again. I keep telling him to toughen up and that it was pure accident it happened in the first place! Along with his recovery he is still teaching and has had a a student teacher over the past couple months. It is interesting for me to see him "let go" of the classroom a little and to see how much it bothers him when he comes home to share the stories. He may not believe this but he is a great teacher to the 1st graders and his college students who come into the classroom through the year. He just has such high standards! All and all he is doing well and enjoying the day to day life of being a daddy and husband - which may we say he is VERY GOOD at!

I have been keeping busy with long work days and what seems to be shorter and shorter evenings. I hate how fast time flies! We have been short staffed at work so I am on double and sometimes triple job duty. It seems these days no one wants a job - well at least the responsibilities that come with it. I have had plenty of interviews but since they are all college students they will not (and yes they said they will not) work the 5 week break they have off over winter. SERIOUS!!!! Who needs 5 weeks off! Where are these adults/kids ethics, responsibilities and adult hood in general! I worked through high school and through college! Maybe too many parents pay too much for their children! It just amazes me! On top of some crazy work hours I have been playing volleyball on Sundays and now will be playing Wednesdays. It is a nice time to get away and do something I love with great people!

Braylon has been growing like a weed.... everything but his hair! HA! He has been having ear infections after ear infections so this Tuesday we are scheduled to get tubes in. I am curious to see how it changes his walking/balance and hopefully his hearing! He has selective hearing just like his daddy. :)  He has found a new love for being naked and hates even more to get his diaper changed. I occasionally will let him run around naked before bed and he is in heaven! He has also found more of his silly side. He loves playing actually playing with you know and teasing too! He is becoming quite the little ham. He recently had his first turkey dinner and of course loved it. There is not much he doesn't eat.

All in all the Fenstermaker's are loving life and happy doing it! We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend and had some time with family and friends!

Summer's first time!

Go Addie!!

A little fun on the farm!

We had a great Thanksgiving with the everyone this year! It was fun to see Braylon interact with everyone! The farm was his favorite I think! He had fun playing freeze tag, talking with Aidan(who was an exceptional toddler talked) and exploring the land! Mommy and daddy even did a little practice shooting too!

Side stepping!

It was hard to keep his balance walking on uneven ground and a slope! Too funny!

A little late but...Braylon is 1!!!

The big day came when our 'little baby' isn't so much of a baby! We had a great day with family and friends as we celebrated Braylon's first birthday in Hungry Caterpillar style! Braylon was showered with too many toys, lots of love and a yummy caterpillar cake thanks to cousin Shannon!

Braylon's 1 year fun facts!

Height: 31.5 inches
Weight: 26.5 pounds

• loves to screech
• stubborn as ever!
• loves his daddy more and more everyday. All he he says is dada!
• 3 teeth and one more almost there!
• running around like a mad man...no walking in this house!
• found a love for roast!
• has an obsession for babies and says baybaybay.
• becoming a picky eater...getting sick didn't help!
• loves hiding behind the curtains and is really good at it!
• loves getting chased (but usually runs towards us instead of away)

I'm sure there is more this mommy forgot but there will always be more updates! Love to all!

I'm sure there is more this momma is forgetting

Bath time!

After a birthday that led to one spoiled boy we are try loving all the bath gifts! He may not know exactly how to use them but we have to keep him away form the bath tub on no bath nights or he will scream! Once it is bath night it is quite the task to get him out! This is funny to me .... It took us months for him to even like a bath, we always had to shower with him, now we can't keep him away! Love this little man!

Oh the Fenstermaker's!

What a crazy year it has been... can you believe our little monster is turning one!!! Time goes way to fast! The Fenstermaker's have ben spending their days preparing for Halloween and a big birthday party lately! On top of all that the Fenstermaker boys have been putting the hurt on our bank account!! HA! ANdrew recently tore his Achilles tendon and ended up having surgery. Now the fun part of all the follow ups and physical therapy. Braylon has recently had three ear infections within  a couple months and we are now being referred to the ENT for possible tubes and a survey of his adenoids and tonsils. Diezel has been on the verge of baldness for the past 6 months and we are finally to the point (after hundreds of dollars f vet bills) that we may be making a trip to the doggy skin and allergy specialist!!! REALLY!! Me.... I am tired and a bit cranky days but over all healthy and thank my lucky stars and the big man upstairs for that. I am not complaining too much though. There are many more in need of the extra prayers and love so please send them to those in need! We are thankful for making it a year as parents and ready to celebrate this weekend! I have some fun theme things ready to go for the Very Hungry Caterpillar so be way of pictures coming soon! Hope  you all had a happy HALLOWEEN!
