Where did my baby go!?!

This last weekend this sweet but spunky boy turned 3! How is that even possible... I swear I just had him! We were blessed to celebrate with family and friends as he was spoiled and showered with love. (more pictures to come!) He sure is the spark in our family and also the passion. He is just always full of what ever he is feeling and goes full force all the time. He sure does hold a special place in many hearts but most importantly to daddy, Braylon and I. We had so much fun helping him celebrate!

What a week ... these boys have ever piece of my heart!

This last week we had some errands to run and I had pushed them off to the most inconvenient night ... Andrew's conference night. This meant I had two energetic boys, a long list and three stores to hit up. Usually this means disaster but this time we kicked it off on the right foot with a trip to Theisens including individual shopping carts, popcorn, dog food and of course big dreams of go carts, dirt bikes and any other thing they would likely hurt themselves on! Ha! The rest of our adventures went great and this mommy made healthy snacking and acceptable meal for the night. May not be my finest supper moment but it got some good food in them as well as kept them from turning into hungry monsters! All in all a big win for a packed in night!

We prepared awhile ago to build a simple, easy movable lego table for Braylon. We had bought the plates (those things are expensive!) and had an idea of our plan but never got it done. This past weekend while Braylon and I worked on (a far to hard for him) Ghostbuster car Daddy knocked it out of the park! We are so excited to see him get some good use out of it!

H❤ppy D❤y of He❤rts!!

Happy Valentine's Day from the Fenstermaker clan! It has been a fun week leading up to the big day of red, hearts and extra love. Mommy and Daddy were blessed to get out for a dinner over the weekend, the boys are beyond blessed to be part of some amazing classrooms and day cares where they get to share some goodies and we even got a little extra crafty and made special gifts for the teachers.

Braylon is getting so big (and smart) so he picked out all his Valentine goodies on his own as well as wrote them all out! We printed out a few different options for his Valentine cards and he had a blast hand picking what friend would love what card! He was even sure to pick out one for himself as well! To go along with his cards he chose heart shaped fruit snacks! Yum!

Brekkon was a little less choosy when it came to his Valentine goodies. We went with a Brekkon favorite and picked out play-doh for all his friends! We are still working on the writing this with him but he holds a pencil great and loves to color so he got a little silly making them bright!

... and today is Valentines! Both boys woke up to some goodies in their bedroom and daddy too! We were more than ready to get out the door to share our goodies, give our special teachers their candles and share the pink rice krispies that we made too! Mommy even got a little extra spoiled with two new diffusers! We are no typically a big Valentine's Day family but we sure shared the love this year and loved doing it!!

Let's kick off February

February went into fast drive... I can hardly believe we are already at the 8th! I have a feeling this year is really going to speed up and just past me in the blink of an eye. SLOW DOWN!

This sweet boy recently had stitches and it was very dramatic but he made it through. After they were in he though he was such a tough guy and that a scar would be so cool! Well just last week we headed in to have the cut checked and ended up getting the stitches out too, His toughness disappeared real quickly! After a little emotional outburst and the first stitch officially removed he decided it wasn't so bad and even had a few giggles in there while the doctor finished up. Afterwards we headed to the movie store for a quick rental and then to a local sweets shop where we had delicious cookies and a serious game of SORRY! :)

This past weekend we had a little bit of a lazy couple days and seemed really cooped up. WE had plans with friends for the Super Bowl but we just couldn't stand being stuck indoors so on Saturday we headed to a local painting/pottery studio. We opted for some new dinner plates and they created masterpieces! I can not wait to pick them up next week and start using them for dinner!

With our painting outing and the movie rentals from the night before we chose to do a family movie night Saturday as well! When I was little I would spend Sunday nights watching National Geographic with my dad and the same snacks. I think we typically had supper first when I was little but in the Fenstermaker house we usually skip supper and go for the big snack to fill us up for the night. It is always the same ... apples, cheese, crackers and popcorn. We spend the whole movie just snacking away, filling up and getting cozy together. This time we even added in a candy bar too! They each got a small container and could fill their container with any of the available candies. Braylon's choice was a lot of skittles and sour patch kids and Brekkon went for skittle and twizzler nibs!

Oh and to add some extra excitement to February .... We finally got a small amount of snow!!! YAY!!!
