I apologize now as I am sure with the holidays and baby number two coming I will surly fall further and further behind with this but i do promise to try!!
The Fenstermaker's have been doing well and keeping busy. It never seems to fail, this time of year bring lots of travel, family and crazy schedules! I am just at 26 weeks down through this pregnancy and so far feeling well. It was a bit of a rough start but it was all worth it! I can tell its a little more difficult with a toddler running around all day, the extra age my body has added plus this being the second time around but there is no doubt in my mind that this big, VERY ACTIVE boy growing is going to be every bit as worth it as we imagine! Andrew has been keeping busy with school and a few odds and ends of things for tech committees, tutoring and even a baseball happening here or there. I have been making him lay for long periods with me just to feel how very active baby number 2 is! Braylon as an active baby in the womb but never as early or as much as this little guy. We are both very anxious to see his (what we imagine will be) a very strong personality right from the start.
We both spent a little extra time with"faith, love and family" this month too. Not only because it arises with the Thanksgiving holiday but we recently sent an Angel to heaven as we said our goodbyes to his Granny. Though Braylon and I have known her so much shorter in time than Andrew or his family we grew to love her and see the true love and compassion she had for her family. We had a nice weekend in Ohio with Andrew's family and spent some extra time cuddling our little guy and enjoying the fact our other little one is so active and healthy. It is never easy to say a "farewell, see you soon, goodbye" especially with a toddler not quiet sure of his surroundings. Although it was not in our plans we know that she was sent off by a loving family and will be more than welcomed at the gates of Heaven.
The one thing that seems to brighten our days no matter the sadness, doubt or frustration .... BRAYLON! His two year old stubbornness and personality(to put it nicely) has come out in full force. Just this morning it took me 30 minutes to stop the tears and get started on breakfast all after he had told me he was hungry. I have been trying the many "ways" I have heard about, learned for myself or am just figuring out to help with the (we will call it) "personality change". I even let him pick his own breakfast, get in the chair himself, cut his own bread and so forth but there was just a mental wall of frustration he had for me. All in all after the short conflict breakfast was happy, full of smiles, chatty and he ate well. It could be a big change coming, it could be the daily changes we have already had with travel and schedules... either way the changes will keep coming with the holidays and then soon after a baby. Patience has never been my strong suit especially with adults but I am learning day by day there is not set rules to your own children, in your own settings, in your own home and we can manage that! We may have great moments, rough ones too and even days that are an all day battle or an all day happy but as long as he knows we love him and support him...we hope to grow a strong, independent and loving little boy! HOPEFULLY!! :) Here is a sneak peek at his two year photos and a few fun things so far this month!

Somebody is 2!!!
It truly is amazing, the phrase ..."time flies when you're having fun"! I could never imagine life would 1) travel this fast or 2) be this much fun. We just celebrated this not so little guys second birthday and we are beyond amazed at him! Life has not been the same since he came into our lives andn ow I could never imagine a life with out him. He may be a handful at times but the times he is oh so loving sure do make you forget those others (usually!). He is InDePeNdEnT, SaSsY, EnErGeTiC, DeTeRmInEd, StUbBoRn, RoUgH and most of all full of LoVe, the best HuGs, sMiLeS and tons of LaUgHtEr! I am not sure how we go so blessed. As he, too quickly, made it to birthday number 2 I am so anxious and excited to see what this next year has in store for him. With all the new stuff he learns and takes on daily, the personality I see growing, the ALL BOY coming out of him and the soon to be role of big brother.... I think we can say it will be a year full of surprises, amazing experiences and I'm sure a few stories worth repeating! Here are a few of his favorites at the big age of 2...
- Construction - he especially loves dump trucks and diggers! He can spot them a mile away and always gets super duper excited! With the booming developments in town they seem to be everywhere too! A walk always turns into a digger hunt and of course he has to touch!
- Trains.... this is more of an obsession! He loves to play with trains and at this point his favorite is Thomas and Percy. We recently got a Children's Museum membership and it of course has a train room... its usually the first and the last place we visit. I wish we could have a room full of trains for him at home!
- Words - He is in a stage of repeating and asking what all the time. Needless to say his vocabulary expands daily and we love it! It is so fun to talk with him and actually understand too!
- Favorite sayings - He loves, loves, loves to say thank you! It has been a recent favorite and I cannot complain. I bet we hear it at least 10-20 times a day. He also is very good at saying sorry, which unfortunately we do need to say sometimes!
- He has his mommy and daddy's sweet tooth!
- He is a TV/movie addict and is very limited to what/when he can watch. Although I must say it is fun to have family movie nights and have him actually sit and watch with us!
- Some other toy favorites...cars, planes, Chuck, puzzles and babies!! Yes, babies! He received a baby for his birthday and it is not often the baby is out of sight. He will be a very loving, willing and protecting big brother come March.
- He loves to put dishes away and help with laundry and vacuuming too!
- Other fun facts... He is 31.5lbs, 36 inches and well off the charts! He is in 2t clothes and size 7 shoes. I think he was blessed with daddies feet!
I am sure there is so much more but I think you get it :)
Today..
Today we went to the store as a family to fill our shoe box! Each year our church fills shoe boxes to ship around the world to hose less fortune it! Braylon picked the box at church(choo choo wrapping paper of course) and helped us pick out items to go in it like cars, a shirt, tooth brush and so on! We sure hope the little guy it's going too loves it!!
