This big boy is 6 months!

Brylor Quin is 6 months old..... how is this possible!?!

- 22 pounds 5 ounces
- 29 inches tall
- 18 month clothes
- Rolled over once (but I think on accident!)
- no teeth or any signs
- always smiling
- hates to be alone or in the quiet
- does not like sippy cups
- still unsure of what color his eyes will be ... ?
- loves anything food related
- Just found his toes and they must taste good!
- just started to sit up on his own
- loves anything water related
- is the apple of all our eyes!

We could not be more blessed by this little Fenstermaker! He is so relaxed, loving, easy and just a pure joy to be around. I feel like he is always smiling and bringing the best out in all of us! How did we get so lucky to add him to the mix of our world. He and those big brothers sure do make us thankful, loved and amazed daily!

A little bit of May ...

May has flew by us! With school coming to an end for the biggest little, our littlest little hitting his half year mark and just plain trying to keep up with that never stopping middle little this momma is pooped! Andrew is also finishing out another school year, prepping for his summer camps, working things out to hit up some conference and planning to conquer a major to do list this summer! As for me, I was officially turned over the reigns to all of our preschool program! (insert HELP face). In the past 6 months the co assistant Director left the program, I had a baby and went on maternity leave and now the head Director has just left on maternity leave and mixed in there we are undergoing a big build, a move, starting summer camp, 35 staff and a over 130 kiddos and their families are now on my plate.... not to mention the little things like finances (GuLp!). I know I can do this but the stress levels are a little high sometimes and I am trying to make the most of my hours at work and leave it there for the night ... but we all know that can be hard sometimes! So my point ... May officially starts the Fenstermaker craziness! Here is a little peak into the last couple weeks ...

Fun with chalk .. this boy created a couple AWESOME robots! He (and I) were so proud of how great they turned out and we had to get a picture!

We have had a the camper out a couple times but the boys are finally getting a little bigger and getting more involved! They absolutely LOVE helping daddy get backed up to the hitch and I think they are pretty good at it! Brekkon is also a rockstar at helping daddy get backed into the parking spot at our house!

Mother's Day 2018!! I won't lien, I love being a little extra loved on Mother's Day. Not by gifts galore but by meaningful, heartfelt items like these! Braylon spent time at school writing about me, making a special jewelry holder and two very beautiful necklaces! (I have worm them a couple times too and it makes him light up!!) Brekkon also spent some time at school filling out a sheet about mommy and making this super sweet and very cute bag for me! I could not have loved it more! Andrew also took the boys out for a quick shopping date and came back with some smelly stuff (lotion and spray) that the boys picked out and a coffee cup decorated in super hero things letting me know how SUPER they think I am! I think the men in my life nailed it this year!

The boys also took me on a coffee date, just the three of us!

(.... more than daddy, hehe)

 ( I guess I clean a lot, ha!)

Twinsies!

We love having cousin Landen over and recently its been even more! He just welcomed a new baby sister to his house and we loved getting him some boy time! They make quiet the trio ... watch out world!

Recently Brekkon had "What I Want To Be When I Grow Up" dress up day at school and this handsome boy said ... "Just like my Daddy"! Brekkon is a daddy's boy through and through every single day! Usually Andrew is all dressed up for school (but of course not on this day) so Brekkon wanted to dress fancy!

We found out that Brylor only likes (or should I say loves) tummy time in the bath!

One of our recent camping trips we went on an adventure where we found a construction crew working in full force... the boys were in heaven!

Just a boy and his Lego men!

Sometimes he makes an extra big space for mommy in his heart too!

..... and baby brother!

Seriously though ..... I think we make cute babies!

Catching up on April

I feel like the story of my life is catching up these days and to be honest after the boys head to bed this momma has a hard time staying up too! We ave had a super busy last month or so. I will do my best for a short, sweet and fun update!

In April we surprised the boys with a trip to the Dells. Andrew and I took a half day and rushed through packing, picked them up early and laid it on them! We got a lot of "I love you's" and "You are the best". Ha! They were happy, excited and ready to rock and roll. Our goal was to try a few new things this time around. We tried a new hotel/waterpark and it turned out to be mostly a fail. There were some definite perks to it but they did not out way the negatives. We did manage to tough it out and stay th efull two nights but we opted to stay an extra night at our go to waterpark hotel. It was a night and ay difference and a lesson learned!

We of course hit up Moosejaw Pizza where mommy also enjoyed their home brewed raspberry beer!

Brekkon tried the lazy river a few times but he is just not a sit still kind of boy. He and daddy were having a blast hiking up the steps to go down the big tub slide!!

Our extra night that we picked up ended up over lapping {aunt} Addie and her clan! It was perfect! They had a blast trying out laser tag, shooter boats and just getting to hang out with their cousins!

We also took some time to get out and get fresh air! It was chilly but needed!

We even tried a new place for brunch that was themed around Paul Bunyan and Blue!

The Dells also brought us this little guy's first visit to quick care. Poor big brother was just trying to help him roll over. :( He felt horrible! On the bright side it turned out not to be anything crazy or bad so we all came home smiling! (or sleeping)

April also brought our first camping weekend for the season and Brylor's first camping trip EVER! He was a total rockstar an seemed to love it! He tried his toes in the sand, swinging, the hammock and slides for the first time too! I see a lot of camping in our future still!
