Every time...
This happens EVERY TIME... It seems like I just get side tracked and forget to keep everyone updated on the life of the Fenstermaker's. I am currently standing in the kitchen waiting for my gourmet frozen pizza to cook and my handsome devil to fall asleep so I can have some mommy time and read! Yes I said read... I have found a new series all about the fantasy world of vampires, demons and other creatures. I have tried so hard to read other types/genres of book but I just have no passion for them. I need magic and power somewhere in life, so books it is! Andrew has left us this weekend for a coaching clinic. It is hard to believe baseball will be starting up before we know it then comes summer and long nights with out daddy. I love that he has a passion for the sport and the kids but we sure do miss him during baseball season. Hopefully his year B and I will be able to make it to a few more games! I have been keeping busy with he same old momma duties. Life as a momma may seem boring on paper but it sure it one of THE best jobs in the world!!! I have, actually have, been making it to the gym when I can. I am hoping for a 12 week plan to get into a size or two smaller. I know it will take time and I have to dig deep for my patience on this one! Braylon continues to grow socially, physically and in smarts and attitude every day! It is amazing what just a simple week can do to his skills and vocabulary! He is saying a few words now (on his terms only) when he chooses too. He loves to say hi (way to much but it sure is cute), bye bye, ball, Diezel, momma(yes he is finally saying although mostly when he is whiney or crying) and of course daddy! We have been working extra hard on Amy too but it's not quite there! He has become a pro at eating too! He has mastered his fork and spoon and loves to eat things whole like big kids. I dared it one weekend morning and gave him nurti-grain bar in whole form. To my surprise he ate it with out making a HUGE mess. Since then we have been giving him more foods in whole form and he is loving it! Some other fun updates : Braylon loves babysitting and tries to do all the hints baby news - diapering, feeding and even picking them up! Watch out babies! He does well at holding them actually and loves to rub heir heads! He also has some new kitchen toys and is infatuated with pour tea, mixing/stirring and cutting the Velcro fruits and veggies! He is growing up way to fast and it seems hard sometimes to realize he is just not a 'baby' any more. (*tear*). Well the gourmet lunch is done and this momma is hungry! Enjoy your day and look for new pictures yet this weekend!!! Live and hugs!

First Haircut!
Andrew finely got me to break down and get Braylon's hair cut. It was a proud mommy moment as he sat in the big boy chair, did not flinch or mess around and did AWESOME! We went to a local salon and she was great with him .... but really he was a rockstar! Not even the buzzers made him flinch! He received a fun certificate and a handsome new do that makes him look much more like a Fenstermaker and a lot less like a baby. The couple pictures with the shovel are all I could get of him so far where you can somewhat see his new style. It was definitely a sad and exciting moment for mommy and mostly just exciting for daddy!

Where has time gone...
It is hard to believe that today marks another year! Another year older, another year of being parents, another year of living this hand called life, another year of the good and bad and another year of 'us'. These things all crazy, rough, excited, fast, happy, sad, scary and anything else you can think of to describe it! We are blessed as we enter 2013 and for that I have the most thanks! We are wondering what 2013 will bring for our family but in the end we wish to spend it together and end it together. Nothing else matters!
It has been awhile since an informative post! Here are some updates!
Andrew - He continues to work an strength as his Achillies heals. It seems a tedious and long process but once recovered will be well worth it! HE has been on break these last two weeks and between Braylon being sick, the holidays, my work schedule and a day or two that hit him with the flu he has not gotten much done. He is not exactly looking forward to getting back into the groove of things but he will survive! Recently he decided to take a drive through the local car dealership (for just a look!) a few hours later he rolled into the drive with a different car. I knew this would happen...he is not much for looking! He traded up for the next size more or less. It isn't new but definitely has a little more leg room and carseat room. So far it has worked out well!
Kara - Life continues to amaze me as a mommy! I have found more and more things to love about it every day. I have been keeping busy with some crazy hours at work and coming home to a couple sick babies. :) I had my turn too! It was THE WORST DAY EVER! I have a volleyball league I joined that plays on Wednesday nights and it is a nice time to get away and just forget for an hour, focus on something I enjoy! (not as much as being a mommy but close!). As I have looked back on the holiday pictures that were taken I realize, now more than ever, that I am needing to hit the gym. I look at them and just feel like I have let go of myself. I decided, like many people around the whorl do at this time of year, that it is MY TIME and I am going to do it! I am not looking to be a model or tiny tim but to look back at the pictures pre-baby to know..... I need to to do something!
Braylon - He is a ham and his little personality is coming out stronger and stronger EVERY DAY! He has mastered the screeching and no very well! He has found a stronger love for books and seems to go in streaks of loving certain titles. For a good two weeks he would pick Max's Train book now we are on to Harvest Time! He loves to read them over and over again! He has officially learned to say Diezel but still refuses to say mommy! STINKER! He has been making the most hilarious faces too! He has not been up to 100% health in a while. A couple weeks ago it started with root-virus, then on to a horrid head cold, just Friday he was projectile vomitting and then lead into a weekend of diarrhea. He just can not seem to catch a break. All the while fighting a runny nose. He is getting good at blowing his nose though and even tries to blow! He has been exploring a lot more with silverware too! Tonight you would not have guessed though as he shoveled his applesauce in by the hand full! It ended up being bath night! We are blessed with an amazing, strong-willed, full of life, sassy, energetic, cuddly, loving little boy and although he is hard to handle at times I would not trade one minute of him!
Diezel - He has officially went English Bulldog on us! He has specific allergies that are un treatable but tolerable. We have the option of spending $1000.00 to get him tested to see what the allergies are. Once tested we would but injections (that we would give him bi-weekly) for the rest of his life! We are hoping that as winter sets in his reactions will disappear and we can re-evaluate this spring. The doctors said this summer was horrible for allergies and said it would be a choice to wait it out and see if it returns next year. We will see! Diezel is starting to love Braylon more and more as they are able to play together more now. Although, we think Diezel is using Braylon for his toys! First the outdoor play set and now a bus tent that Braylon got for Christmas. Diezel just goes in and sleeps or pushes it around. Too funny!
Our 2012 year has come to a very blessed year and we look forward to what comes next! Thanks for keeping up with the Fenstermaker's! We hope you are all blessed and your lives are filled with love, laughter, family and friends in the year to come!
