Where has time gone...

It is hard to believe that today marks another year! Another year older, another year of being parents, another year of living this hand called life, another year of the good and bad and another year of 'us'. These things all crazy, rough, excited, fast, happy, sad, scary and anything else you can think of to describe it! We are blessed as we enter 2013 and for that I have the most thanks! We are wondering what 2013 will bring for our family but in the end we wish to spend it together and end it together. Nothing else matters!

It has been awhile since an informative post! Here are some updates!

Andrew - He continues to work an strength as his Achillies heals. It seems a tedious and long process but once recovered will be well worth it! HE has been on break these last two weeks and between Braylon being sick, the holidays, my work schedule and a day or two that hit him with the flu he has not gotten much done. He is not exactly looking forward to getting back into the groove of things but he will survive! Recently he decided to take a drive through the local car dealership (for just a look!) a few hours later he rolled into the drive with a different car. I knew this would happen...he is not much for looking! He traded up for the next size more or less. It isn't new but definitely has a little more leg room and carseat room. So far it has worked out well!

Kara - Life continues to amaze me as a mommy! I have found more and more things to love about it every day. I have been keeping busy with some crazy hours at work and coming home to a couple sick babies. :) I had my turn too! It was THE WORST DAY EVER! I have a volleyball league I joined that plays on Wednesday nights and it is a nice time to get away and just forget for an hour, focus on something I enjoy! (not as much as being a mommy but close!). As I have looked back on the holiday pictures that were taken I realize, now more than ever, that I am needing to hit the gym. I look at them and just feel like I have let go of myself. I decided, like many people around the whorl do at this time of year, that it is MY TIME and I am going to do it! I am not looking to be a model or tiny tim but to look back at the pictures pre-baby to know..... I need to to do something!

Braylon - He is a ham and his little personality is coming out stronger and stronger EVERY DAY! He has mastered the screeching and no very well! He has found a stronger love for books and seems to go in streaks of loving certain titles. For a good two weeks he would pick Max's Train book now we are on to Harvest Time! He loves to read them over and over again! He has officially learned to say Diezel but still refuses to say mommy! STINKER! He has been making the most hilarious faces too! He has not been up to 100% health in a while. A couple weeks ago it started with root-virus, then on to a horrid head cold, just Friday he was projectile vomitting and then lead into a weekend of diarrhea. He just can not seem to catch a break. All the while fighting a runny nose. He is getting good at blowing his nose though and even tries to blow! He has been exploring a lot more with silverware too! Tonight you would not have guessed though as he shoveled his applesauce in by the hand full! It ended up being bath night! We are blessed with an amazing, strong-willed, full of life, sassy, energetic, cuddly, loving little boy and although he is hard to handle at times I would not trade one minute of him!

Diezel - He has officially went English Bulldog on us! He has specific allergies that are un treatable but tolerable. We have the option of spending $1000.00 to get him tested to see what the allergies are. Once tested we would but injections (that we would give  him bi-weekly) for the rest of his life! We are hoping that as winter sets in his reactions will disappear and we can re-evaluate this spring. The doctors said this summer was horrible for allergies and said it would be a choice to wait it out and see if it returns next year. We will see! Diezel is starting to love Braylon more and more as they are able to play together more now. Although, we think Diezel is using Braylon for his toys! First the outdoor play set and now a bus tent that Braylon got for Christmas. Diezel just goes in and sleeps or pushes it around. Too funny!

Our 2012 year has come to a very blessed year and we look forward to what comes next! Thanks for keeping up with the Fenstermaker's! We hope you are all blessed and your lives are filled with love, laughter, family and friends in the year to come!
