Our trip to the Dells...
We took our annual trip to the Dells this year again! For the past few years Andrew has had sessions that were accepted into a Google conference at the Wilderness. His presentation was accepted again this year which meant a discounted stay for the whole family! Unfortunately...this year we also brought a yucky virus with us. 😕 it stared with Brekkon late Saturday night. We thought it was due to his cough and drainage more than anything but by mid water park on Sunday he was running at a 102. Poor thing! We tried to make the best of our time and since it's a little quieter there this time of year Braylon was big enough to brace the park on his own with frequent check ins. He did a rockstar job!! By Monday evening they were both battling a fever but with Andrew presenting we couldn't leave until today at 1:45. We managed to sleep in a little, take it easy and make the best of our morning. We hit the road by 2 and both boys were out by 2:10. Needless to say it will be a family vacation we won't forget! We were blessed to be able to get away and spend a little time in such a fun place though and for that we are thankful!

I have a 5 year old!?
This sweet, innocent, emotional, determined, smart little boy became 5 this past week! He keeps us on our toes with all the knowledge he thrives to learn, pushes us to emotional drainage because he wears all of his on his sleeve and brightens our days with his goofy personality! He is so kind hearted and strong willed all at the same time! We took the day to celebrate him with a movie date to Trolls, play time and pretzels at the mall, power ranger out fits to add to our dress up, a couple gifts and a dinner date to the place of his choice (Pizza Ranch)! We also have a fun family tradition and are blessed to have a special Birthday Fairy that loves our boys. Each time we have a birthday she visits while they sleep leaving balloons and donuts! This year she must have know how much Braylon loves gum and brought him an extra goodie too! Happy birthday our not so little boy! We love you!
Halloween!!
Halloween brought us a lot of fun! We painted one large pumpkin with what we thought was glow in the dark paint ... it only glowed for black lights! Mommy fail! Regardless they had fun making it colorful and creating a mess! We also carved a couple pumpkins, had fun cutting and using kid friendly tools on a smaller fee and creating a fun faced pie pumpkin as well! We ended our Halloween fun with trick or treating as Mario and Luigi and coming home with far more candy than needed! We loved Halloween in the Fenstermaker house!!
Final camping adventure 2016
The weather has been great this year and the warm sunshine stayed around a little longer than usual! We took the opportunity to take our final camping trip in mid October. The scenery was beautiful and the parks were quiet. All in all it was a perfect way to end the season!
The first week of October...
I am a little behind due to some complications with smart phones and apps...technology! Ha! The first week of October we had a great weekend celebrating a cousins birthday at the fire station and celebrating 6 years of marriage. We turned into those old people who take day dates for coffee and conversation. We may not have lived up he night light but it sure was nice to talk with out interruption and enjoy a coffee that stays hot with out having to warm it up a few times!
Pumpkins!
We were blessed this year to be able to visit three different pumpkin patches! One as a family, one with Mamaw and one with Gamm family! Each one had so many great things we explored between farm yard animals, tube slides, corn boxes and even a jumping pillow. It was hard to get pictures of all the fun but here are the few I do get to share!
