BiG BoY!
This sweet, big boy has finally gotten the potty training thing! We truly couldn't have done it with out his in home, Shira, who more or less kick started it and really sent him on the right track. As of today he has been in undies for 4 days and has had no accidents. The little turkey even wakes up through out the night to go. He is so very proud of him self and loves to call him self a big boy like Braylon. We could not be more proud of how much this little mister has grown and the little boy he is becoming! ❤
Finishing up January
Mid January we took a trip to Aunt Addie's were we celebrated Mamaw and Corrine's birthdays! We had so much yummy food, lots of play time and we even took a trip to the local pottery store. The boys had so much fun pickin gut their project and painting them. Brekkon picked Dory and Braylon found an awesome transformer!
The boys both had dentist appointments recently and it was the best opportunity for a quick mommy date to Subway! They were rock stars at the dentist (though Brekkon still needs a quiet room.. those lungs!). I think Braylon had a bit of a shocker when he was told he has the start of two cavities. We have a few new tricks at brushing and he is much more willing to let mommy and daddy help!
Braylon's school just took a trip to a local gymnastics place and he had so much fun balancing, rolling, jumping and testing out the foam pits too!
This last weekend was an eventful one for Braylon. He has officially gained his first set of stitches. I am sure it will not be the last either! He was so brave and did such a great job. After the fact he thought he was pretty cool. He even said he wants it to scar! Ha, boys!
On the same night at stitches I had a fun work Christmas party! I was more than happy to get there and have a glass of wine (or two) after all the fun head injury stuff! I had so much fun creating a fun sea turtle picture and enjoying good company. Braylon liked it so much he wanted it hung above his bed! {💙}

January update!
January is sneaking by us with random play dates, family fun, hot cocoa and birthday celebrations! Here is a sneak peak into our last couple weeks!
The boys had an awesome play date with some neighbor boys! It was a room full of super heros, power rangers and transformers! A little boys dream!
This boy was super tough as we headed in to see an allergy and asthma specialist a couple weeks ago. He was tested for 27 different allegens that all came back negative. At this point we think he has some asthma he is battling and the cold weather and colds in general seem to induce it. We did try to start our morning off with s special kick start... yummy Starbucks hot cocoa! Mmmm!
Brekkon is the king of picture taking (kind of!). He loves to take as many as he can and if you could see my photo library on my phone you would know who was in charge! We recently traveled to help celebrate cousins, Myles and Avery, first birthday. It was a winter ONEderland full of great company, yummy food and lots of fun things to play with. Brekkon seemed to have full control of the camera and the only things we came home with were tons of selfies and lots of Papa! Ha!
Braylon LOVES (understatement) his games! We recently took some time to teach him how to play Skip-Bo and it turns out he is a fan. I think a few more rounds and he will really get the hang of it!
Magnet fun before bed!!

January is moving fast!
The end of December and beginning of January seemed to be our "update" time! We recently purges through out closets and cupboards and added a few new updates to the house as well. Recently my Grandma passed away and as we looked through the garage and old space we found some old double pane screen windows and I had the best thought! Though I do not have a picture posted, we ended up taking the screen out, adding twine and then using small picture cloths pins to display tones of pictures! It looks fabulous and I love that is came from her! We also managed to grab a couple of glass pane windows too for a future project! Along with some great old gems we also finally updated our curtains to match, added a new calendar (this is my favorite!!), finally finished our picture wall and added a chore station for the boys. They love earning extra money helping with bigger chores around the house. Lets just hope they always have this enthusiasm! All this updating has me wanting more and so many ideas have come to mind for our basement but for now we are so happy with our house becoming more and more like our home!
These boys, my heart, love nothing more than after bath time! Between the sudden burst of energy and being "free" of clothing they run like crazy animals each bath/shower night. Their laughter, and their hair, are to die for and it really is the best!
The last couple weeks have been filled with lots of family time and play time. Braylon loves any game and Brekkon could spend hours with playdough! We even headed back to my hometown area where we enjoyed a local fish fry. SO YUMMY! I grew up going every Friday and it still is just as yummy! Papa even took some time to show the boys his gun collection and talked about getting to teach them to shoot and one day giving them a gun of their own!

New Years!
Happy 2017 everyone!! We were blessed to ring in the new year (early of course) with our friends the Finney's. We loved visiting, playing and meeting their newest addition, Gannon. Such a sweet boy!
We were also amazed at the beautiful temps on New Year's Day and spent it with family exploring the outdoors, riding four wheelers and lots of games and play dough!
Cheers to another year of family, laughter, love and mountains of memories!

Museum family trip!
We had a great afternoon exploring the museum as part of our Christmas gift this year! We could have stayed even longer!
Christmas 2016
We had a great day celebrating Christmas as a family! We typically keep things simple and low key. We love finding those couple gifts they really want and try to do a couple they need as well as a family gift where we can all spend the time together. This year we had a family date to the museum as our gift. We even got to celebrate a few days after Christmas for and afternoon play date that andrew could join in on! Yay! Unfortunately after all the Christmas fun all four of us were down and out with the flu the day after. It was a rough day! All in all it was a great few days and a lot of family memories!
