A blessed week!

We have had plenty of things to be thankful for this past week! The weather, time with friends, family fun and some special reminders of just how sweet a little boy can be!

I will be totally honest here we have not made much effort to go see Daddy coach. Mostly for selfish Mommy reasons of not wanting to chase, confine and re-chase two boys .... but this week we attempted it! It actually wasn't horrible but we had our moments. Two boys means two different ways to watch and keep track of. Braylon was all about playing catch and Brekkon was my sneaky Pete who kept trying to find daddy (who was in the dug out) by opening the gate occasionally... but look how sweet this is!

This past Thursday the weather was humid and sticky. It had rained earlier that morning and going by the pool on our way home - it proved to be fairly slow so we thought we would have a family night at the pool. Daddy had a different idea and all in all a better one. We headed out to our favorite local beach area and pretty much had the entire place to ourselves! It was beautiful and truly one of the easiest places for Mommy and Daddy to have a conversations ---- they keep themselves super busy!!

This past weekend we visited our amazing friends the Buss family. They are truly a huge blessing to us near or far so it was time well spent just playing, hanging out and attempting to eat cherries! Brekkon loved them but they proved to be slightly tricky with the middle pit.

This weekend at church was our monthly time to spend teaching the two year old room (Brekkon's class). Each time we do Braylon insist on staying in there as well and hanging out. He is a great helper with story time and loves helping all the kiddos build and explore though sometimes he gets frustrated with all the messing up of things too! This picture captures the sweetest moment of him taking care of his "baby cousins". Every time we see the Gamm's and "the twins" as he calls them he is obsessed with holding, playing and feeding them. How precious to use it in his pretend play too!

And lastly, though most dear to this Mommy's heart.... "Mommy, can we have a coffee date together?". Talk about a heart melt! We enjoyed the morning playing games, eating cinnamon rolls and drinking coffee (or hot cocoa)! He has already insisted on a daddy coffee date next!
