October has been a busy month and on top of all the fun we are having we are also on our final count down to meeting baby Fenstermaker. With all of that and our schedules we have kept busy day in and day out and our calendar always seems to be full.... but so do our hearts! We are blessed to have activities, friends, family, school and each other! Here is a quick look into our October...
Hawkeye Day at Brekkon's Preschool!
We had a great weekend spent on the farm doing so exploring through the creek, chopping wood, roasting hot dogs, riding four wheelers and so much more. October left us feeling so much family love between this visit and a visit back north to see the other two sets of grandparents and cousins too! The boys are beyond blessed to have a close set of family members to share their days with!
Braylon even wanted to bring his book so he could read the whole thing to Papaw! He is becoming quiet the little scholar and loves reading!
Brekkon visited the local fire station for a school field trip and loved seeing a fire fighter all dressed up, touring the station and checking out the inside of the fire truck!
Some time ago we pre-ordered some fun lego tape and it finally came! It is fun an sticky but sadly doesn't have the best long term stickiness. So far it has done well on the light switch though! I am finally in the process of "decorating" their room with a simple lego theme so more pictures to come as it makes process! (ps.. don't expect anything too crazy!)
Brekkon also had his trip to the pumpkin patch in October! It was actually a little warm too! We had so much fun on a hay ride, corn box, tunnel slides, jumping pillow, sack lunch and more! His favorite was definitely the tractor ride but the jumping pillow came in as a close second!
We also visited the local pumpkin patch here in town twice! Once for a birthday party and once as a family (more pictures to come, as they are on a different camera). The birthday party day was so warm they ended up going in shorts and a tee but our family trip was wet and cool. On the bright side we had a lot of the pumpkin patch to ourselves that day! :)
Braylon's class also visited a near by pumpkin patch and farm and I was so blessed to be able to tag along. The weather this day was also beautiful!! We explored the farm, met so many farm animals and then headed back to school for a picnic lunch and extra play time at the near by park! So fun!
One of the best days of October ... combining with Uncle Duane! The boys spent a little over an hour (sadly, not long enough for their liking) helping pick crops, drive and fill semis with corn! They were absolutely in love and keep asking to go do it again! They even came home with their own ears of corn to use with our farm toys! So thankful it worked out that they could do this!
Beware that there is likely more October updates to come! :):)
