OH WHAT A DAY!

Happy Sunday evening! What a day in the Fenstermaker's home! We started the morning great with a trip to Starbucks (our weekly family treat/tradition on Sunday before church)! I took a gamble on a new flavor .... peppermint white chocolate .... and it was a win! Church was great! We had volleyball at one and a great friend come watch Braylon....then it went down hill! It actually started on Friday night-early Saturday morning when Braylon had a fever of over 101. Needless to the say the fever has not really gone away. Tonight we were still at 100.5. Now going back to today.... we were having fun, playing volley ball AND out of nowhere Andrew is on the ground and clearly in pain! WHAT???? He takes the side and we play the next set as he determines what is wrong. The ball is dead and our only other guy teammate is on the ground holding his ankle. SERIOUSLY!?!?!?! We ended up calling the game and taking a trip to the quick care. There we sat for a good hour and a half while the doctor determined and made calls to see if the ER was needed. All the while my not so healthy child is being a ROCKSTAR and hanging out with us as we try and figure out what is wrong. In the end it was a trip to the ER where we heard lots of great stories and saw many interesting people. Non of these stories would be at all funny since they are there for what could be a serious injury but at the same time..one injured husband (meaning baby) and one infant with little to no sleep the people seemed to amuse me. I am HORRIBLE! The people next to us were being told they would not get there "person" back because they needed to stay the night so he/she would not harm them...???? There was an over sized lady walking in with all her mid section hanging out (on purpose) as she grabber her from belly...??? One man came in with a friend who was clearly not himself and was shaking a red bag at the nurse saying git was pills and booze and his friend needed help now.....??? Then there was a man called and three people got up to go with him and all were sitting alone in different sections of the waiting room....??? Many were just odd......??? After an hour wait and a quick visit with the doctor Andrew is scheduled to go in for an MRI or ultrasound to determine the severity of his ripped if not completely torn achilles tendon. Not to mention our other player is in a boot and crutches with a possible fracture....WHAT A DAY!!!

On a side note......well I don't have one! Ugh! Lets hope this week goes better!
