What a week!

This week has been quite n adventure for all of us! I officially started back to work this week. It was sad but we survived. Due to some things at daycare it was a little off. He went to daycare M/W/H, stayed home with Grandma Fenstermaker Tuesday and Daddy on Friday. This next week we will be in a routine that is a little more "normal".

DAY ONE AT AMY'S

He had a great first day! He has been the king of cat naps the first couple months but once we got started in daycare we found a few good tricks to help him sleep and he has done wonderful! He is taking roughly about a 2.5 hour nap in the morning and early afternoon. He is also still sleeping about 8 hours each night. We are very spoiled! I also made it through the first day with no tears. Lucky for me there was PLENTY of stuff for me to do at work to keep me busy!

MOMMY SURVIVED DAY ONE TOO!

Our big guy has also made some milestones these past couple weeks! He is smiling so much more now. He still is a little stink about looking at you but when he does he will usually smile for you! He loves being talk to and will usually give you lots of smiles for that too! He has switched to medium flow bottles, he is eating 7 ounces now, and he is doing much better with spitting up! We recently switched his formula again and it has seemed to help! He also is paying much more attention to his surroundings and even held on to his rattle to shake, shake, shake! (well, more like just normal movement but with sound!) He is also making some giggle/cooing sounds! He is getting so big, too fast!

We also had our two month check up. He has grown 2 inches and gained a little over 3 pounds. He is now 25 inches and a little over 13 pounds. The doctor said we have a healthy boy! He got three shots...which he was not a fan of! Daddy thought he was not going to breath as hard has he was crying. Poor Guy! He got over it quick though which makes a mommy and daddy feel much better. After such a hard and mixed up week we are all ready for a nap and some good family time which includes LOTS of cuddles!
